Control of time and costs with budget monitoring in TimeWriter
When a project has a fixed number of hours or a set budget, you naturally want to know exactly how things are progressing. How much work has already been done? How do the incurred costs compare to the available budget? With the Budget Monitoring module in TimeWriter, you can easily keep track of this.
For each budget, you decide whether to monitor by time or by money. External costs—for example, from hired subcontractors—can also be included; they are automatically added to the total budget. In addition, you can easily assign one or more employees as budget supervisors. They receive an automatic notification as soon as a predefined threshold is reached, for example at 75% of the budget. This way, you’re alerted in time and can avoid unpleasant surprises later on.
