All versions of TimeWriter support the use of a cloud database (also the free freeware version)
A cloud database is not located on your local computer or local network, but is stored on our servers. This has the advantage that you can use TimeWriter from different locations (at home, at work, at a customer).
In addition to using the desktop client (rich client), you can also use a web client and / or mobile clients (apps).
You can change the database configuration from and to a cloud database at any time. The TimeWriter control panel provides a number of screens for transferring your local administration to the cloud or vice versa.
! The use of the cloud database has the consequence that you should always use the latest version of TimeWriter. TimeWriter has a built-in feature for downloading and installing updates. The user must, of course, have sufficient writing privileges to perform this update.
