You decide the structure yourself: a concise invoice with a single total amount, or a breakdown per employee, activity or period — it is all possible.

Integration with Peppol
already mandatory in Belgium
Invoicing via Peppol: the Belgian obligation
In Belgium, the use of Peppol (Pan-European Public Procurement Online) is no longer an option but increasingly an obligation. For all public contracts it has been mandatory since 1 November 2022 to submit invoices electronically via Peppol, and the Belgian government is actively working towards making this the standard in B2B relationships as well.
What does this mean in practice?
Government invoices: If you supply goods or services to the Belgian government or to a public institution, you must send your invoice via Peppol. PDFs by e-mail are no longer sufficient.
B2B obligations: From 2026 Belgium is expected to make e-invoicing via Peppol mandatory for B2B transactions as well. This will make electronic invoicing the norm throughout the business world.
Benefits of Peppol invoicing:
Faster processing: Invoices go straight into the recipient's system.
Fewer errors: The structured XML format prevents interpretation problems.
Better follow-up: You can see immediately whether an invoice has been delivered and received.

With TimeWriter you easily log the hours worked by your employees, per client, project and activity. This way you know not only how many hours have been worked, but also what that time was spent on. The recorded hours then form a reliable basis for your administration and invoicing. One central record gives employees a simple way to log their time and gives administrators the overview and control they need.
One record. Multiple uses.

Time tracking that goes beyond keeping track of hours
Logging hours is not an end in itself. You want to know what your employees spend their time on, how much time a client or project really costs and which work you can charge on. TimeWriter brings this information together clearly. Employees log the time they have worked, you check the entries and then you can use the data for analysis, project monitoring and invoicing.
Log → check → analyse → invoice
In this way, time tracking becomes a natural part of your business administration instead of a separate administrative task. The data employees record during their work can be reused at various points. That saves duplicate work and ensures your administration is based on up-to-date and verified data.
Log hours in the way that suits your organisation
Every organisation works differently and therefore has different requirements for time tracking. TimeWriter gives you the freedom to set up the tracking in a way that fits your daily work. You can, for example, log hours per employee, client, project, activity, date or type of work. This way you record exactly the information that is relevant to your organisation, without burdening employees with unnecessary administrative steps.
You can also tailor the way employees work with the tracking to their role within the organisation. Employees get the options they need to log their hours quickly, while administrators keep central oversight of the complete records. In this way TimeWriter combines ease of use for employees with control for the organisation.
Easy for employees. Clear for administrators.
Never search for missing hours again
Good time tracking starts with complete and reliable data. When hours are missing or are only entered weeks later, it becomes increasingly difficult to establish afterwards how much time was actually spent on a client or project. With TimeWriter you can easily check the recorded hours and quickly see where data is missing or needs to be adjusted.
You can view the records per employee, period, client or project and make corrections where necessary. This lets you keep an eye on the completeness of your time tracking throughout the process and prevents you from having to search for missing hours in diaries, spreadsheets or loose notes at the end of the month.
"How many hours have I actually spent on this client?"
With central time tracking you no longer have to work that out afterwards. The information is where you expect it to be.
From recorded hours to a correct invoice
When your employees log their hours consistently, you and your administration have a reliable basis for invoicing. You see which work has been carried out for a client or project and how much time was spent on it. You can then determine which recorded hours are actually charged to the client. This prevents billable hours from disappearing between different spreadsheets, diaries or loose notes.
The approach is simple:
1. Log
Employees record their hours worked against the right client, project or activity.
2. Check
You check the entries and correct any errors or missing data before the hours are processed.
3. Select
Decide which recorded hours you want to charge to your client and which hours remain internal.
4. Invoice
Use the selected hours as the basis for your invoice and avoid having to enter the same information again.
From time worked to invoice, without entering the same data again.
Keep an eye on your projects
A project may look well planned on paper, but only when you know the hours actually spent do you know how much time the project really took. With TimeWriter you gain insight into the hours employees spend on a project. This lets you not only assess afterwards how much time a project required, but also better understand what that time was spent on.
You can see, for example, how many hours were worked in total, which tasks take the most time, how much time different employees spent on the project and what share of the hours is billable. Internal hours become visible too. This information makes your time tracking valuable when evaluating projects and can help to plan future work more realistically.
Know where your time goes
Not all hours worked are billable. Meetings, administration, internal projects and other tasks take time, but are not always charged directly to a client. When you log these hours separately, you get a much more realistic picture of the available time within your organisation and of the ratio between billable and non-billable work.
As a result, your time tracking answers more than just the question "How much have I worked?". Above all, you gain insight into the question "What did I spend my time on?". That difference matters when you want not only to keep your administration up to date, but also to understand how your organisation actually spends its time.
More grip on your invoicing
A reliable invoice starts with reliable time tracking. When you know exactly which hours have been recorded, what they were worked for and which hours have not yet been processed, you stay in control of your invoicing process. TimeWriter helps you bring this information together clearly, so you depend less on manual checks and separate records.
Billable hours
See which work has been carried out for a client and which recorded hours you can charge on.
Non-billable hours
Gain insight into the time your employees spend on internal work, meetings and other activities that are not invoiced directly to clients.
Outstanding hours
Keep an overview of recorded hours that still need to be checked, processed or invoiced.
Project hours
Compare the time actually spent with your expectations and gain better insight into the time projects really require.
This gives you more grip on your invoicing and on the way your organisation uses its time.
Turn time tracking into a management tool
Your time tracking contains much more information than just the number of hours worked. When you look at the data over longer periods, you gain insight into patterns within your organisation. You can see, for example, which clients require relatively a lot of time, which projects overrun and which tasks structurally take more time than expected.
This allows you to make better decisions about your business operations. Are projects budgeted realistically? Which tasks structurally take more time than expected? How much of your available capacity is actually billable? Which clients or projects require relatively a lot of time and where are the opportunities to work more efficiently?
Time tracking thus becomes more than administration: it becomes information you can steer by.
